Amazon Wild Slot

This one might pass you by unsuspectingly, but it stands out for me because it’s just a little bit different. My partner would say the same about me, I think. ‘Special’ you might say. (No not like that!)
You’re presented with an unusual looking screen – 5 reels of 4 visible symbols and a whole hundred paylines. This leads to enormous amounts of combinations for you to win with.
The slot, as you might have guessed is centred on the wildlife of the Amazon rainforest, with frogs, birds, plants and so on featuring foremost. Playing with the word ‘Wild’, that’s another element of this game that comes into play a lot.
Your aim, as with most slots is to get as many of the same symbol across as many paylines as possible. It’s not that hard to score a win, but because there are 100 lines, the payout for a single line win reflects the fact there’s likely to be other payline wins at the same time, so the payouts are quite small on an individual basis.
It’s the old adage of you get what you pay for really – if you only play a few lines, it won’t cost you much, and you won’t win huge amounts on each spin, so the reverse is true – you stand a greater chance of bigger payouts playing all the lines (and therefore paying more to play).
Back to this Wild business – once you’ve got over the amusing sound effects and animation of scoring a win (shouts of ‘Ribbit, ribbit ribbit ribbit’ can sometimes be heard in this house) – you may notice that the Wild symbol (an Aztec looking mask) pops up rather a lot.
Further to that, if you manage to get more than one on the same reel, the whole reel becomes wild. In the half hour or so I had a little play for this site (on top of the hours and hours previously before I had the great(?!) idea of doing this site!), I got quite a nice little win when the middle reel did exactly that, as you can see in the screenshot opposite.
In my mind, I cannot remember if I’ve ever seen any other reel than 1 and 3 go completely wild – maybe someone can correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think I’ve seen it elsewhere.
Anyway, to top off this truely ‘Wild’ slot – there is a Bonus! Entering it is a matter of getting 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols anywhere across the 5 reels. Once in, you get to are confronted with the Amazon Map. You then choose ruins from the map (you get to choose 3, 4 or 5 depending how many Bonus symbols got you there), and each ruin has a payout amount which seems to vary, but within one bonus game will be fairly consistently high or low.
It’s a really fast moving slot which seems to be over by the time you’ve let go of the ‘Spin’ button – but when you get those Wilds, the screen goes crazy with popping noises – all those lines can add up!
If you like listening to weird jungle animal noises and like it fast paced (so to speak!), give this one a spin!Amazon Wild Slot,
